Law Vacancies 2021 eligibility and dates of examination

The High Court of Delhi conducts an annual examination of judicial services in order to recruit members of the judiciary. A total of 19 law vacancies 2021 in the Delhi Supreme Court were disclosed in the recent announcement for the year 2020.

In view of the current situation, it is expected to be delayed in this year’s notification for the Delhi Judicial Exam 2021. The minimum age for applying for the test shall be 22 years with respect to eligibility, and the upper age limit for the general category shall be 35 years.

The Delhi judicial service examination is carried out annually in the Delhi High Court to recruit civil judges. The interview, the main examination and the preliminary exam are the three phases of the selection procedure. The preliminary test consists of question type and the main examination consists of questions type descriptive.

Exam for the Delhi Judiciary in 2021

A month before the exam, candidates can apply online for the Delhi Judicial Service Exam. Candidates should go to delhihighcourt.nic.in, which is the official website of the Delhi Judiciary Exam. Eligibility Criteria for the 2021 Delhi Judicial Exam

Candidates must comply with the following requirements in order to apply for the Delhi Judiciary Exam:

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Limitation of Age: Candidates under 32 years of age.

Qualification in Education: The candidate should have an LLB from an academic body.


Judiciary Application Process in Delhi in 2021

  1. The candidate should go to delhihighcourt.nic.in, the Delhi High Court’s official website to apply for the Delhi judicial examination.
  2. The candidate should read the Delhi Judicial Exam Notice thoroughly before filing the form form.
  3. After that, before submitting the application, the candidate must upload a scanned photo and signature.
  4. For future reference, candidates should print a copy of their application form.

The Delhi Judiciary issued Card 2021.

The Delhi High Court publishes on the official web site delhihighcourt.nic.in a Delhi Judiciary Admit Card for all eligible candidates. You can download the admission card online. You can enter the application data and view the admission card on the website. The candidates are expected to take a card printout and carry it without fail to the examination hall.


Exam Pattern for the Delhi Judiciary in 2021

It’s divided into two parts: Pre and Mains.

Main Exam Syllabus

  1. G.K & Language (250 Marks) – current events, essays, translations, and precise language
  2. Civil Law 1 (200 marks) includes the Indian Sale of Goods Act, indian conrtact act, the Indian Partnership Act, the Specific Relief Act, family law (Hindu Law & Muslim Law), the Delhi Rent Control Act, and Torts Law.
  3. Civil Law II(200 marks) – C.P.C, Act of Limitation and I.E.A(Act of Indian Evidence) and Registration act
  4. Criminal Law (200 marks) covers Cr.P.C, I.P.C, and the Indian Evidence Act.

Interview process

The interview round will qualify for applicants who qualify for the main examination. There will be an interview with 150 marks. The aspirants will be selected for the judicial positions based on the marks-obtained in the hand and the prelim exams. For the interview, the applicant must receive at least 50% of the total.

Result Law Vacancies 2021 of the Delhi Judiciary

The High Court of Delhi announces the results of the prelude and main exam. The finalized list of eligible candidates will be published on the Delhi High Court’s official website. The final results of the Delhi judiciary are based on the candidate’s hands and rounds of interviews, not the preliminary examinations.

Cut off Marks for the Law Vacancies 2021

First and foremost, candidates must be eligible for the preliminary exam. If the candidate passes the preliminary exam, he or she will be eligible for the main exam.  In this case, the candidate must receive 50 percent of the total marks and 40 percent of the marks in each of the four papers. There is a 5% reduction for those who fall into the reserved category. Finally, in order to qualify, candidates must pass the interview with at least 50% marks.
